Flight Log - 2015-06-26 - Dan Patell's Proteus

Filament wound fiberglass construction with fiberglass fins.  Dual deployment via a Skyangle Cert 3 Drogue and XXL Main.  98mm Motor Mount capable of flying on an N motor.

LDRS 34.  Perfect boost after the motor was lit via three Pyrodex .50 cal pellets.  No burping or popping during boost.  Perfect deployment at apogee with significant spinning of the booster during descent (See onboard video).  Main deployment at 1,000' was successful with a 66" military surplus chute pulling the XXL main out of the deployment bag.  Recovery about 320 yards from the flight line, in the field.  ARTS1 functioned properly, however did not record data.  RRC3 reported 9,556' at 873 ft/s.
