Who better than Advanced Rocketry Corp to support a bonus prize
for the Parallel Staged portion of the 2006 EMRR Challenge. With their ARC 1824 PSR and ARC 1318 PSR design, ARC brings
parallel staging to you in kit form. Very exciting.
For the 2006 EMRR Challenge, ARC has offered a ARC 1318 PSR for this bonus
activity.
So, for all of the Challenge #6 entries that go that extra mile to
develop a parallel cluster (parallel staged) scratch design an extra prize is available. This extra bonus prize will be
awarded to the parallel cluster (parallel staged) design that gets the top votes of our guests.

- I have a Question about #6 . What exactly do you consider a parallel
cluster?
- Here is the definition from the EMRR Glossary:
- Parallel Staging: A practice similar to clustering, in which two or more
"stages" mounted parallel to the main motor ignite simultaneously. The "stages" usually contain
shorter-burning, higher-thrust motors than the main airframe (or sustainer), and drop off when their motors burn
out.
