The Salute Model Rocket kit is a basic three-fin and nose cone kit with 12" parachute recovery. The kit is aimed at the novice rocket builder with little or no experience in model building. The Salute comes with detailed instructions which include many building tips to help the first time builder achieve a high level of success on thier first attempt. The instructions also include two level of painting options giving the builder a more challenging and a less challenging choice. Fins are pre-cut and sanded 1/8th inch balsa though a minimal level of finishing is still required. The kit also includes a sheet of vinyl decal stars which adds the finishing detail to the kit.
