Modification - Gnome to Double Gnome

I eventually got bored with them and they sat and gathered dust. One day while Looking for something new to jam a rocket engine into I saw the 2 Gnomes sitting right next to each other and one word popped into my mind . . . CLUSTER! So I decided to put the two cute little Gnomes together. First you will need to pick one rocket and remove its lug hole leaving the body surroundung ring. Then remove 2 fins from each rocket (as pictured). Make this descision carefully since you only get one shot.
Check for alignment ! ! ! You simply prep like you would any other rocket and the launch rod should slide between the rockets (the launch lugs look like bulk heads so you don't have the unsightly look of lugs). Personally A10-3T's are not recomended since it will vanish off the pad faster than the original Gnome and is very hard to track, BUT if you want that kind of flight get two Apogee 13mm B7-8's! I flew this rocket twice at NARAM-40. Great flyer! Straight as an arrow although I think from now on I will stick with 1/2A and 1/4A motors when they come out.
