Editor's Note: The Sabre was part of a starters set that is now
OOP
Brief:
Simple EX2 construction, three fins & nose kit.
Construction:
The Sabre has the typical EX2 construction. The three plastic fins go through
the wall and are glued to a plastic cage around the motor mount. The shock cord
is attached to a gizmo that is glued through the forward wall of the body tube.
The instructions were very easy to follow, especially since this was my BAR
rocket. No special tools or techniques are required.
Finishing:
No finishing required, the tube, fins and nose come in basic black with
adhesive, peel and stick decals.

Flight:
Flight is very smooth and nominal. The kit comes with both a parachute and
streamer to lend some variety to the flight.
Recovery:
Normal Estes shock cordtoo short.
