Estes upscaled Red Max Pro Series II kit. Added an eyebolt to the top centering ring and replaced the shock cord with 20 feet of braided Kevlar. Added some balsa "dams" to the motor mount which allowed me to pot the TTW fin tabs in epoxy where they attached to the motor mount. Currently using a kevlar heat shield and a 30 inch Spherachute for recovery. Rocket was initially flown "nekkid", but final colors will be pink with a purple nosecone and "Der Pink Max" decals from Stickershock.

Winds finally picked up enough to break up the cloud deck enough to fly high. Awesome boost, straight and fast off the rail on a big red flame. Way up high, arcing over at the top of the climb, ejection right around apogee. rocket descended under the chute bundle and the Jolly Logic Chute Release did its job perfectly at 500 feet. Rocket stuck the landing on the field, no damage.
