Flight Log - 2019-02-02 - Matthew Bond's Rocketarium Turbo Vortico 2.0

A helicopter style odd-roc, with Three "blades" that extend out from the central 29mm motor tube.  Constructed from a total of 6 laser cut plywood parts.  Flight profile is high drag, low altitude, spin stabilized, very entertaining.

Version 2.0 was built after I pushed the envelope a little to hard with my original build and shredded it in spectacular fashion with a CTI H-135.

Flight Date: 2019-02-02
Rocket Name: Rocketarium Turbo Vortico 2.0
Kit Name: Rocketarium - Turbo Vortico {Kit} (RK-1204) [?-?]
Flyer's Name: Matthew Bond
Motors: G68-13
Wind Speed: 3.00 mph
Launch Site: SEARS

Great Flight!  Stock CTI ignitor failed to light the motor, and upon inspection, did not appear to have burned at all, even though continuity was lost.  Replaced the ignitor and off it went.  Quick off the rod, slow and loud, spinning furiously on a big column of smoke.  Stalled out shortly after motor burnout and spun gently back to the field.
