Flight Log - 2013-01-06 - Tyler Davis's Big Bertha

Well the rocket was verry nice, it was pretty sizeable for a Skill Level 1 rocket, it came with all the componets to build the rocket and all in all it was a really nice rocket.

Flight Date: 2013-01-06
Rocket Name: Big Bertha
Kit Name: Estes - Big Bertha {Kit} (1948, 23, 7007)
Flyer's Name: Tyler Davis
Motors: C6-7
Expected Altitude: 1,000.00 Feet
Launch Site: The Mesa
Actual Altitude: 800.00 Feet

This rocket flew exceptionally well and there were some issues with the first engine I used but after I replaced the engine the rocket lifted off perfectly and I was using a C6-7 engine (which was not recomended for the rocket kit haha) and the rocket hit the Apogee but the engine still continued and luckily the parachute deployed about 400 ft above the launch pad. I was able to catch the rocket when it landed and I preformed 2 verry successful launches of the rocket.
