PRESS RELEASE
QModeling: New product announcement
April 3, 2008
QModeling announces the release of their long awaited RMS-ANDROMEDA, a 1.65
upscale of the original Estes Andromeda that roamed the skies in the 1970's.

This MEGA kit has over 80 parts and an assembly manual sporting 29
pages of detailed illustrated assembly steps. Included are QModeling's renowned assembly jigs to make the building
easier. These jigs help with aspects of construction from fin attachment to accurately locating detail features like
Hatches and Radiator plates. Also, the builder has a choice of three different recovery system and rocket separation
options (for ease of transport) detailed in the manual.
The kit comes with up-scale version of all the classic details:

- Reactor Assembly
- Ram Tubes
- Antenna Assembly
- Solar Sail Fins
- and MORE
QModeling leveraged the power of their solid modeling package to analyze and
refine the mass of each part and assembly. They also refined their part laser cutting process too religiously to trim
weight. This work and overall testing took significantly longer than anyone anticipated.
It took time, but this attention has resulted in a high quality and fun almost 6
foot tall upscale Andromeda that is less than 1 lb fully painted, with an engine (even an F size reloadable), and a
recovery system.
