Flight Log - 2012-05-19 - Ray "AcroRay" Miller's X-30 National Aerospace Plane

A large, primarily aeroshroud kit with a reputation for difficult construction, poor flight performance and self-destructive design bugs.  The reputation is well-deserved, but the kit looks very nice on display. I bought it for $5 after lots of research.

Flight Date: 2012-05-19
Rocket Name: X-30 National Aerospace Plane

Another shallow arc into the wind, but stable and very aeroplane-like! Late chute depolyment. Bad motor? Fine recovery.
