David S. Kemp's PageAKA: rockets_4_fu Location: LaPlata, MD Club Memberships: NAR Favorite Rockets: Estes Goblin Biography: I am a born again rocketeer. Introduced to model rocketry at a summer camp back in the 70's. We built and flew what I believe was an Estes Viking. I then remember having a mosquito, that was lost on its first flight. After that, I moved onto a Der Red Max, Citation Patriot and Photon Distruptor. Launched rockets through the early 80's with friends and then lost interest. Rediscovered the joy of the hobby in Oct 2020. Was very happy to see that I could find and re-build the rockets I had as a kid. Very lucky to have some friendly neighbors that own farms where I can launch whenever crops are not present. Live near LaPlata, MD. Instagram handle is rockets_4_fun. WVU Alumni. Retired UNiX Geek
