4-H High-powered rocketry CATO
The 4-H High-powered rocketry club in Reno, Nevada launched their rocket a second time on a CTI J520 Sparkey motor. However, the motor failed ( CATO) causing the rocket to separate at the pad and spewing the fuel grains across the Playa. The on-board camera, avionics bay and motor casing were destroyed. The group plans to repair the rocket and fly at the 2015 XPRS in Black Rock. Photos: Dan Newton Video: Kevin Clifford, Dan Newton
