Rick Barnes's Der Mean Max

My modified Estes Mean Machine.  Built with 3 fins, extended to 88" long, with a 29mm motor mount using an Estes plastic motor retainer.  Split two-piece recovery, with a baffle as a mid-tube coupler.  The nose is under a 12" parachute, and the lower section under a Red Max skull/crossbones 18" chute.  Painted red & black inspired by the Der Red Max, using a combination of Red Max and Mean Machine decals.
