This is a video of my LOC Precision EZI-65 EXL flying on an Aerotech K550W White Lightning motor with Phoenix Missile Works in Winterboro/Talladega, AL on March 4, 2017. Dual deployment was controlled primarily by an AltusMetrum TeleMetrum, and a Perfectflite Stratologger CF served as backup. The drogue was deployed at apogee, and the main chute at 350 m (1148 ft) The TeleMetrum also provided GPS tracking and real-time flight statistics via a radio telemetry link. The TeleMetrum measured peak altitude at 7329 ft and peak velocity at 984 fps (Mach 0.9). This was my highest flight and largest motor (1,700 N-sec total impulse) to date. A Mobius HD video camera was mounted on the payload bay in a shroud from Additive Aerospace.
