This is a launch and test flight of our rocket powered Space Shuttle flown at the GCRCC or Greater Cincinnati Radio Contol Club in Trenton Ohio. This was a version built and test flown in the summer of 2008. The paint still had not been applied at the time until the model had launched and test flown correctly. The shuttle has been part of the GCRCC Air Circus since it's inception in 1984 by Henery Kin, long time member of the GCRCC. The model is featured every year at the Air Circus which is a work in progress by the club and it's members. The club has put on this Air Show since 1961, traditionally every 2nd weekend in August. In 2010 the club will be celebrating it's 50th anniversary with it's Air Circus at the Butler County Regional Airport in Hamilton Ohio. The dates are August 7th and 8th with the show starting around 11:30 AM both days. The club consists of some of the best model builders, and RC pilots in the world, who love to demonstrate RC modeling to the community.
