Brief:
The Wacky Wiggler is a fun, easy build rocket. It is made of 7 plastic sections that are held together by string. The rocket goes up as one piece and comes down in 7 pieces.

Construction:
The package includes the nose cone, fin section, 5 plastic body sections, 6 paper body sections, motor mount and a 6' section of string.

The components are mainly plastic, but are usual Estes make.

The rocket is easy to build and the instructions are straight forward. My 5 year old son and I built it in less than 1 hour, however, it does take a lot of plastic cement. The fins snap into place. The rocket seems a little "wiggly" when standing. Hence the name, I guess.

Finishing:
The only finishing required is placing the decals onto the rocket. It is pretty neat looking when finished.

Construction Rating: 4 out of 5

Flight:
For the first flight, I chose an A8-3. I was a little concerned about the rocket leaning, so I propped it up against the launch rod. After ignition, it soared to about 150' and came down only 20' from the pad.

The string did break at the attachment for the fin can. The instructions did not mention to use any recovery wadding, and I forgot to place any in the bottom section.

Recovery:
The flight was surprisingly straight. I was a little worried that it would lean and venture off course, but the boost was straight.

Flight Rating: 4 out of 5

Summary:
The Wacky Wiggler is cheap and easy to build. Kids will love the colorful finish and the name is pretty cool as well. It will not be a high flyer but it should be get some attention from the crowd.

Overall Rating: 4 out of 5

Brief: Estes new E2X series break-apart recovery rocket. All components were present and undamaged. Rocket was a quick build, less than an hour. The only gotcha was the engine mount. It had to be sanded to fit into the tube. Finishing: Finishing was a breeze. Body and all parts were pre-painted/finished. Construction Rating: 5 out of 5 Flight: Here is where this cute little rocket ...
