Very nice looking scale rocket.
Components
Two body tubes, four cardboard fins and plastic fin pods, plastic nose cone, 1/16 cloth braided round elastic shock cord, 3D self-adhesive decals.
Construction
Pros - Very nice scale rocket. Pleasure to build.
Cons - Instructions very vague. Were translated from German to English. Must have good rocket building skills. Use your imagination. "Imagination is more important than knowledge". - Albert Einstein. Skill level 6?
Finishing
Instructions did not contain any detailed painting. Prepping and sanding of the body tubes. 220 grit and 400 grit for a nice smooth finish. Very easy to paint. Decal quality very good. 3D printed self adhesive decals.
Flight
Recommended motors are a good choice. Flies well on a D10-5 Aerotech motor.
Recovery
Very nice 50 cm round parachute. Would recommend using larger diameter shroud lines.
Summary
In my opinion, the Ariane was a pleasure to build. Very nice scale rocket!
