Construction:
Of all the Aerotech and Dr. Rocket 29mm hardware that I have, the 360 motor is my favorite. It is 13 inches long, and uses the same large nozzle that some 38mm I and all J motors use. Six propellant grains are placed in a phenolic liner, and the motor is capped off with a standard seal disk and forward closure. The RMS 29/360 requires the use of an "enlarged" aft closure to accommodate the larger width nozzle. This enlarged closure can also be used with all the other 29mm RMS motors.

Currently, there are only two available reload types for this case, and I am hard pressed choosing a favorite. The white lightning load is designated an I200. It is a baby "I", packing only 330 n/s of power. This is also the longest burning 29mm White Lightning High Power motor, the $30 of fuel is consumed in 1.8 seconds. The price may seem steep, but the large flame and intense smoke this motor produces is well worth the price.

The other reload for the RMS 29/360 motor is the H268 redline motor. Personally, my favorite of the 29mm Redlines' the flame looks more "missile like." The total impulse of this reload is 320 n/s, which is a 100% H motor. Burn time is about 1.25 seconds, and it is a "on-off" motor, meaning that it has a consistent loud roar until the moment it runs out of fuel. This is my favorite motor to use in my Red and White I-ROC.

I am hoping that Aerotech plans to release a Black Jack and Blue Thunder load for this motor. So far I have not heard of any future plans, but that does not stop my imagination from running wild :-). My guess is a Black Jack motor would be around 300 n/s, with a 2 second burn. This would be equivalent to a H150. A blue thunder load would be about 330 n/s, with a 1 second burn, an I330. The H220 has an impressive flame, imagine what an I330 can produce :-).

You mean the I200 is the shortest burning HPR motor, right, it is pretty short compared to most 54mm's and the long burns are WAY longer then 1.8 seconds...

actually, I believe he meant longest. He did say out of the 29mm motors (54mm burn longer, but they do not fit into the category he was comparing)
