Here is a fun activity for kids during the 4th of July. You will need: Thick cardstock paper Salt Watercolors Elmer's white glue Take your Elmer's white glue and draw some fireworks on the thick cardstock paper. Then cover the paper in salt. Shake off any of the extra salt. Then use the watercolors to paint on the salt. Let it sit and dry for about an hour.
