Future MI Wing Commander, CAP Colonel Leo Burke provides the color commentary during the much-anticipated model rocketry demo for the cadet wing at CRTC Alpena, MI. First up is an Estes Cosmic Cobra to demonstrate helicopter recovery. The big bird which roars off the center stand is my 1:10 Scale V-2. The basketball-size shadow is cast by the nose cone and it's own parachute. The V-2 body has it's own chute but it did not deploy. Note how fast that shadow moves. A lot of dragonflies too. Wish I had "Ride of The Valkyrie" playing in the background.
