Brief:
This was one of the first kits I built as a kid and I flew it so many times that I had to retire it. A couple months ago I found this kit for sale and had to get. This is a great rocket to get started with. It is more then just a 3 fin rocket.

Construction:
This kit has four fins, 5 nosecones, and a transition from BT20-BT5, with a simple streamer for recovery.

This is a fun and simple build. It has a lot more to offer then the simple rockets. The instructions are very simple to follow and make building this kit easy. Estes has included the needed templates and jigs for the build. I liked that they provide card stock to place under the pods to make alignment easy.

Finishing:
I followed the paint scheme on the package. I painted the body tubes and nosecones separate then glued the nosecones on after the paint dried. This made it easy instead of having to mask everything after assembly. I really liked the decals. It has a special Prismatic Pressure Sensitive Decal which is really cool.

Construction Rating: 3 out of 5

Flight:
I have flown this multiple times mostly on A8-3. I have a small field so this is a great motor for me to use. I am able to watch the entire flight.

Recovery:
This is a great rocket to have on a streamer. It floats down very nicely.

Flight Rating: 3 out of 5

Summary:
I really like this rocket. It is a simple rocket but has a lot to offer which is a huge plus.

Overall Rating: 4 out of 5
