Virgin launch of my Estes Executioner on 06/04/11 at the NARBARS Vista View Launch Day. She used a(n) E9-8, which has a little too long of a delay before the ejection charge. As a result, the chute popped out late and tore three shroud lines, but she landed otherwise unscathed half way down the hill. I was afraid to make the launch because winds up there were gusting up to around 20 mph, but I figured why not? I built the rocket to be flown, not displayed.
