Estes upscaled Red Max Pro Series II kit. Added an eyebolt to the top centering ring and replaced the shock cord with 20 feet of braided Kevlar. Added some balsa "dams" to the motor mount which allowed me to pot the TTW fin tabs in epoxy where they attached to the motor mount. Currently using a kevlar heat shield and a 30 inch Spherachute for recovery. Rocket was initially flown "nekkid", but final colors will be pink with a purple nosecone and "Der Pink Max" decals from Stickershock.

Tried twice to light the motor on the away cell with no luck. Moved the rocket to the mid row, still took about 8 seconds of holding the launch button down to light the igniter. Nice loud sparky boost, arcing into the wind during the coast, past apogee and heading downhill at ejection. Good chute release at 500’, wind brought it back to the low power pads, 30’ from the LCO. Grass landing, no damage.
