Flight Log - 2019-11-09 - Matthew Bond's Estes Mega Der Pink Max
Estes upscaled Red Max Pro Series II kit. Added an eyebolt to the top centering ring and replaced the shock cord with 20 feet of braided Kevlar. Added some balsa "dams" to the motor mount which allowed me to pot the TTW fin tabs in epoxy where they attached to the motor mount. Currently using a kevlar heat shield and a 30 inch Spherachute for recovery. Rocket was initially flown "nekkid", but final colors will be pink with a purple nosecone and "Der Pink Max" decals from Stickershock.

Awesome flight! Straight and fast off the rail, beautiful straight smooth coast, just starting to arc over near apogee, still nose up at ejection. Good separation, good chute release and deploy at 500 feet, landed on the field, no damage.
