Flight Log - 2018-11-25 - Matthew Bond's Estes Orbital Interceptor
A recreation of a classic Estes kit produced from 1981-1983. Kit was built as my "backup" entry into the classic model category from NARAM 60. The parts were purchased from eRockets, including the laser cut balsa fins, body tube, nose cone and reproduced decals.

Day two of GRITS 2018. Not quite as foggy as day 1 but still damp and cold in the morning. Cloud deck estimated at 700 feet. Nice boost, little bit of tail wiggle under thrust, arcing slightly during the coast, out of sight in the clouds prior to ejection. Heard the ejection charge and picked it up under chute. Landed on the field with no damage.
