Great first attempt at slow motion video of model rocket launch pad explosion. Next I will try high speed @ 120fps with my Sony AS15 action cam. Check out my other videos for the 120 fps launch under pad https://www.youtube.com/user/HeliExperts . 1 out of 3 launches successful... Not bad for homemade launch pad and 25 year old rockets. Engine mount broke loose on the recovery deployment explosion on the Big Bertha since the glue became brittle from being in a hot/cold attic all those years. I also packed the parachute too tight (amateur mistake). Maxi Icarus was converted to a C from a D engine since I am cheap. Maxi Icarus broke fin, in a free fall, since the shock cord broke on chute deployment.
