Cadets of Civil Air Patrol Vandenberg Composite Squadron 101 launch model rockets as the last requirement in the CAP Model Rocketry Program. After completing three stages of training on the subject of rockets, their history, and the physics and science behind them the cadets finish off the program with a celebration and show. The CAP Model Rocketry Program is part of the CAP STEM Program, providing a vast and diverse amount of opportunities to its members in the growing field of STEM.
