Motor CATO.    RMS-EZ delay, drilled to 6s, failed at motor burnout, causing recovery system ejection at maximum velocity.  Lower shock cord snapped, upper shockcord pulled out of bulkhead, causing both airframe sections to come down with no chute.  Lower section came down flat, landed in soft grass, and had minimimal damage, just 2 broken fins, 1 broken shroud, and a few detail broken detail pieces.  Upper section total loss, all the nose weight caused entire section to crush.  Capsule broke free, though, and was found with no damage.  Aerotech acknowledged early 38mm EZ delays had a high failure rate, and has issued a bulletin.
