Used a perfectflite Stratologger for deployment. Very easy to use in comparison to a G-wiz LCX. The ematch for the main chute showed no continuity owhen I powered the altimeter up on the pad. The cause was that the ematch was faulty. To fix this we switched the main and drogue ematches around causing the main to instead pop out at apogee. The rocket still only drifted maybe 200 feet due to nearly zero wind. Perfect launch, and perfect single deployment. This was the last launch of the day and many people got involved to get the stupid motor to light. The beginning shows the two ground tests that we recorded and were for the drogue parachute compartment. We did one ground test for the main with 3 shear pins at 1.5 grams which worked great. Date: December 10, 2011 4:30p.m. Motor: Aerotech K695 Redline with plugged forward closure Max Altitude: 7710 feet (2350 metres) Max speed: will find out when I download all information gathered from altimeter. Main ejection charge: 1.75 grams (added a little for peace of mind)
