This is the launch footage from our DJI Phantom Quadcopter / Drone from our 3 hour flight, OLHZN-9, during the Great American Solar Eclipse which we captured over the Rochester and Syracuse NY area. Our eclipse was only a partial (75%) solar eclipse so we didn't achieve complete darkness The flight launched from Canandaigua, NY just outside of the Rochester New York area in the Finger Lakes region. The flight traveled to an altitude of 112,506 FT. and landed 58 miles ESE of the launch site in the Assembly Park, NY swamp area.
