Brief
We used Launchpad Rocket's custom designer to create our own model rocket, it came in the mail two days later and the build quality of it was amazing. We were able to customize the design and engraved it with what we named the rocket, Slicer.
Components
The entire model rocket was 3d printed and only came in 3 parts excluding the engine bay. It did include a parachute and shock cord that was made by Estes.
Construction
Everything fit together perfectly, the only thing that was needed was a little big of super glue. The shock cord was a little difficult to get glued in but it wasn't too bad.
Finishing
Since we designed the rocket it was already the right color and didn't require much sanding. The surface was a little rough but could be flown without sanding.
Flight
Recovery
We used everything that came with the kit including C6-3 engines and the recovery was perfect, after a good flight we didn't have to go far to recover it and the build quality allowed us to launch 3 times that day and only stopped because we ran out of engines.
Summary
I'd highly recommend checking out their site, they have a few available model rockets and I keep getting emails about them adding new designs. We really enjoyed flying our own model rocket, I'm definitely buying from here again.
