Brief

The X-Celerator is a 4" all G12 fiberglass kit from Rocketry Warehouse.

This kit Features

Router beveled fin edges
Precision routed fin slots
Flies on anything from an I to an L
Weight 9 Lbs
Almost 7 Foot Tal

Components

Although the kit is a Rocketry Warehouse kit it is manufactured by Performance Rocketry, That being said you can rest assured this is one quality kit.

The kits parts consist of the following:

4" Fiberglass 4:1 Ogive Nosecone
4" G12 Fiberglass Airframe 42 inches
4" G12 Fiberglass Airframe 24 inches
4" G12 Fiberglass Coupler 8 inches
54mm Motor Mount G12 Fiberglass 21 Inches
3 G10 Fiberglass 1/8" Thick Beveled Fins
G10 Fiberglass Centering Rings
G10 Fiberglass Bulk Plates

Construction

Construction of the X-Celerator is pretty straight forward, As with all fiberglass kit just be sure to sand any areas that will be getting epoxied. By sanding these areas you'll be sure to get good adhesion between the parts and epoxy.

Finishing

The G12 fiberglass is already nice and smooth, Alls that is needed is a very light sanding a good coat of primer and a top coat of whatever color you like.

Rocketry Warehouse also sells the X-Celerator name in high quality vinyl as well.

Flight

I've probably seen 5-6 different X-Celerators fly already this year and they have all flown great!

At NERRF 7 I saw one fly on a CTI J355RL for a successful L2 flight to 3302'

I flew mine on a CTI K630BS to 4671' perfect flight!

Recovery

As for recovery well that's kind of up to the individual. But for the X-Celerator? I had no issues, Both the forward and aft sections had ample room for your main and drogue.

The X-Celerator is a great kit, Its a fun build and it flys great. Fly it single deploy for L1 or duel deploy for L2 either way the X-Celerator will get the job done.
