Flight Date: 2013-03-17
Rocket Name: LOC V-2
Kit Name: LOC/Precision - V2 (3.9") {Kit} (PK-57)
Flyer's Name: Rodney Earp
Motors: H123
Wind Speed: 3.00 mph
Launch Site: ROCC
Actual Altitude: 1,960.00 Feet

The Aerotech H123 really sends it off the pad. Arched over really bad again, I think having the rod guide above the boatail don't let it come off the rod straight. If I had it to do over, I would do 1010 rail guides. I think that would fix this. Still highest flight so far, good engine for the rocket.

landed in the neigbor's field to the north. Got to meet the neighbors to retreve it. Ended up with a small cow patty in it From being drug by the chute.

After looking at all the data on the H123, I don't think that it reached the altitude the altimeter said it did. It should have ended up around 1100' and thinking back it really didn't look any higher than that.
