The launch of the Stratos I rocket by Delft Aerospace Rocket Engineering. The rocket was launched to on March 17 2009, at 11:28 CET from Esrange in Sweden. It reached an altitude of 12.5 km, thereby a new European altitude record was set for amateur rockets.
