| "O" motor Nike Smoke high power rocket launch (2011-07-04) This is my 3/4 scale 200lb Nike Smoke flying to 11300' on propellant designed to simulate the Space Shuttle SRBs. We were test flying an on-screen display unit which overlays flight info on the video - worked well and subsequent versions included mph & gps coordinates display. The flapping is gaffers tape on the camera coming loose at 650mph.

| High Power Rocket Launch (2011-06-26) This is my friend Bill's 11' tall, 58lb rocket flying on a white "M" motor to 5000' at a top speed of about 650mph. It recovered safely on a 17' parachute a short distance away from the launch pad. The SD footage in this clip is from an RCA Small Wonder solid state camcorder attached to a radio controlled plane and from another "lipstick cam" secured to the launch tower. The HD footage was shot on a Canon XHA1 and the project was edited with Sony Vegas 8 Pro.

The payload is Bill Schworer's ham band ATV system w/RDAS flight data on-screen-display board. This replaces an earlier, on-board-only video. Thanks Bill, Chuck, Bob & Ken.

| Iris Sounding Rocket 2 stage flight LDRS 31 (2012-09-19) The first flight of the Iris at this year's LDRS was a 2 stage with 9 Cesaroni I540 hammers in the booster staging via radio control to a 7600 ns M3000 white which inadvertently turned out to be closer to an M5000. Main deployment was also by RC although 2 altimeters were along for backup. The Triplefire RC board is available from Transolve.
