Flight Log - 2023-10-01 - Bill Eichelberger's Estes - Long Tom

Classic two-stage rocket with long payload section.  Painted as per the instructions:  Booster, white with black fins; Sustainer, white with black fin can and a 1/2-in. black stripe 3/8-in. forward the fin can.  Has red/black roll pattern just aft of white nosecone (decal).  Built stock except for small altimeter bay built in just aft of the nosecone that will accommodate a PerfectFlite MiniAlt.

Boost was mostly straight and very slightly right. Separated around 150' and sustainer then tipped more to the right. Ejection occurred after the rocket tipped over and it drifted back toward the flightline, landing just behind the high-power pads. Booster fluttered back and landed behind the flightline.
