Flight Log - 2018-10-06 - Matthew Bond's 13mm Payloader 002

NARAM 60 A Payload altitude design.  A 13mm booster with a transition to an 18mm payload section which contained both the NAR payload and a short section of coupler tube designed to carry the altimeter, an Altus Metrum MicroPea.  Payload bay and coupler were drilled to allow ambient air pressure to reach the altimeter.  Nose cone was elliptical shaped balsa.

NRC B Payload Flight attempt two.  Boost not quite as straight out of the tower this time.  Good staging event, good streamer deploy at apogee.  Both sections recovered, both motors retained.  MicroPeak altimeter reported 166.5 Meters, which was corrected to 178 Meters for the temperature.  Time to build a much cleaner version of this rocket, with a nice finish and lauch it off a piston.
