Between the time that I loaded this rocket on the pad and the time it came to launch, someone turned the "Wind" switch from OFF to HIGH.  It literally went from 2-3 mph to 18-20mph in the span of less than 5 minutes.  After grabbing all the sun shades and trying everything down the decision was made to continue launching.  The RSO asked if I wanted to launch and I said no, but when they counted down the pad next to mine, the LCO sent the Red Max up.  The rocket arced heavily into the wind and was well past apogee and headed downhill at ejection.  Got a good chute and the wind actually brought it back fairly close for a no damage recovery.  This was my last flight of a very fun week at NARAM 60.
