Time: 7:54 pm.  Temperature: 75 degrees.  Wind blowing from the southeast at 5 mph.  Weather: Partly cloudy.

Launched with Altimeter Two in the payload.  Note: Odd shaped payload; Altimeter Two didn't quite fit, so taped nosecone on.  Very low flight.  Rocket was pointed nose down and descending when parachute deployed.  I don't believe the parachute had a chance to open all the way before it landed at 100 degrees, 15 yards from the launch site.  Daniel recovered.  Slight damage to the top of the body tube, but can be bent back into shape.
