Brief
Seven motor cluster by NCR. Great rocket if you can get all seven motors lit.
Components
Single 2.6" body tube. 6 fins. Central 24mm motor surrounded by 6x 18mm motors. White plastic nose cone. NCR Gorilla shock cord system consists of a cable looped through the upper centering ring and tied to a Kevlar line. All wood is high-quality laser cut. Nice stickers are included. Instructions are very detailed.
Construction
Everything went as expected. I do not like the 18mm tubes exhausting onto the aft centering ring so I vented them out the side. If they are not friction fit tight then they blow out and you'll have to find them on the field.
Finishing
I copied the original design. Bright yellow is easy to see. Decals are easy. The nose cone is plastic and needed the typical extra work to get the paint to stick.
Flight
First flight was on B6 and C11 motors. Central motor also didn't fire so there was no deployment but the rocket kind of floated down sideways and wasn't damaged. Most successful flight was on C6 and D12 motors. All motors lit and looked spectacular. Next flight will be on C6 and E12 motors.
