ENORMOUS Saturn V Rocket launches in Northern Colorado (2011-06-28)

During Oktoberfest in Northern Colorado, the last flight to be launched was a scale Saturn V rocket. The rocket had 4 'K' class motors and 1 central 'M' motor giving this missle a lot of punch and a beautiful flame. The rocket had a slow realistic flight, and from the still-pictures, looks like the real thing! I will always remember this flight launched at Northern Colorado Rocketry (NCRocketry)!!

This rocket flew out of control during the premier Oktoberfest launch in Northern Colorado. This was part of the Northern Colorado Rocketry club (NCRocketry.com). The rocket was an oversized "Mean Machine" that flew HP (High Power) on a "K" class motor. The rocket probably lost control because it lost a fin/s at the first 300 ft. of the flight. The rocket then lost stability and flew out of control .

Rocket with On-board Video Camera flies on an E engine! - NCR's Oktoberfest (2011-05-31)

Ever wonder what the view looks like from a rocket? With this Boostervision on-board video camera, the high-speed flight of this Estes model rocket can clearly be seen. The camera was mounted to the rocket by means of a central piece of wood (slid down the camera) that was then firmly attached to the rocket with Duct Tape (see the video for a picture). The rocket flew on an E 9-4 Estes engine/motor. It flew to an altitude of about 600 feet during one of the premier launches in Colorado - Oktoberfest. Oktoberfest is an annual rocket launch held by Northern Colorado Rocketry. Thank- you FAA for waivers! In the future, I plan to use this video camera on one of my mid-power rockets (a Callisto by PML). - Northern Colorado Rocketry (NCRocketry.com) - A Crews Control Production
