29mm composite motor.

Flight:
I tried this motor out in my scratch-built "Thunderstruck". It's built of LOC and Aerotech components, 2.25" OD X 43" long, and weighs 18 oz. The motor took a moment to pressurize, then SHOT the rocket off the pad. It is loud, raw, smoky and fiery. The guys at the CMASS launch all stopped to watch this one go, and they're used to H, I, and sometimes higher power! This flight was a thrill for sure.

PerformanceSummary:
These motors are the best deal in rocketry. You not only get a deal on a pair of them, but you also get a unique propellant that is fun to fly. Aerotech, thumbs up to you!

Cons- the stupid sticky label! It slid easily into the Aerotech mount but had to be RIPPED out with vise grips, because of the melted glue. What a nuisance. The residue did clean out easily with acetone. I recommend peeling off the label and using De-Solv-It Citrus to remove the glue. This was done on the second motor, and it slipped into and out of the mount with ease. This motor would get an enthusiastic 5 rating if not for the label hassle.

By far, one of the best values on the market today. These motors make rocketry(mid power)affordable and "impressionable". Loading up an EconoJet G35 into a 38mm rocket weighing in under a pound, makes the best demo flight for the money. 3000-3500 feet for under $12.00....not too shabee!!!!

Don't use the copper head ignitors. At launches it is often the cause of non-ignition. Hard to hook up to the clips at the high power launch pads and questionable ignition. There is always a dealer with better ignitors at large launches.

While I have never had a copperhead ignitor fail they are a little difficult to wire by folding masking tape over in a spiral. The perfect ignitor for this and all Aerotech Single use motors is the Quickburst Twiggy. And always make certain that regardless of what ignitor you select, that it is pushed all the way up to the top of the inside of the motor as AT motors burn top to bottom unlike Estes that burn bottom to top.

The solution to the Copperhead reliability issue is extremely simple and costs less that 5 bucks. The reliability issues come from foolish attempts to tape the igniter so a standard igniter clip contacts only half of the laminated igniter strip. Can anyone say jerry-rig? Get an Aerotech Interlock Igniter Clip and a couple lengths of wire to attach to it. Clip the proper igniter clip on the Copperhead igniter, clip the usual igniter clips to the bare ends of the attached wires and get totally reliable ignition (the way the manufacturer designed the motor to be lit) without buying extra igniters for every motor. Why clubs don't have a few laying around for members use is beyond me.
