CANADA/USA DUAL ROCKET MAIL FLIGHT (2014-08-29 20:19:03)

2014-08-29 20:19:03

Several rocket mail covers flown on board The Canadian Rocket Research Society's Astrobee D IV (D) launch vehicle back on May 14th (2014) in eastern Ontario (Canada), have now also successfully taken a ride inside an American rocket, named the WA-77, which blasted off outside Tulsa, Oklahoma, on August 17th. The dual launches may be the first official international rocket mail collaboration involving two rocket flights, flown in two different countries, carrying the same mail covers on board. The remaining rocket mail covers have been sent to Gemada Stamps for auction later in the year. I would now like to take this time to thank Warwick Rocketry for their cooperation and for being excellent partners in this unique project.
