Construction
Step - 1
Use a pencil sharpener (A metal one) and sharpen the dowel until it just becomes a point. Chop off a little of that point and round it so it is not quite so sharp.

Now shave the other end into a 1/2" shoulder. Glue this onto the body tube.

Step - 2
To make the wings take the 4x4 piece of balsa and draw a line bisecting it in half going against the grain of the wood. Orient the piece like the drawing below and draw a line from the upper left to the lower right corner. As in the drawing bisect the smaller triangles in half so you end up with 2 small 1x1" triangles that are not used. Now take the larger wing panels and glue them together flat. From the drawing the root edges are the left and right edges of the piece of wood. Bend the wings tips up so they are raised 5/8" Glue into place.

Step - 3
Glue the fuselage to the wing on the center line of the wings with the rear most edge of the body tube even with the trailing edge of the wing. Cut out and glue the vertical stabilizer to the top of the fuselage also even with the rear most edge.

Step - 4
Snip the 2 1/2" x 1/2" triangles off of the elevator (1/2"x4"). Personally for the hinge I would use a sticky tape since a more permanent solution will tend to be to heavy. Use an elastic of choice to hook the elevator (1/2" left of center) the the front of the vertical stabilizer. You may wish to make a stop for it but I have yet to need one. Adjust so it springs to no less than 45 degrees.  Add choice of launch lug if any. ---   That is it your are done.!!!

Trimming for Flight
The center of gravity of this plane must not be less than 2 7/8" from the rearmost edge of the body tube. When test  gliding if it stalls do not lessen the elevator trim below 45 degrees just add nose weight until it glides as desired.

Drawings are in Millimeters.
