Specifications: Length: 40" Diameter: 1.64" Motor Mount: 18MM
The instructions are the "usual" Estes type. With diagrams for every step. The tools needed are: pencil, ruler, X-acto knife, glue, 3/4" masking tape, and sandpaper.
All parts fit good without any sanding! I modified mine to take Aerotech 18MM D and E motors, C's are small for this size rocket! I just coated the centering rings with 5 minute epoxy to make them stronger. Also used epoxy to put them on the motor tube and to put into rocket! I used yellow glue for putting together the rest of the rocket.
The decals glow in the dark. But if you are not careful they rip very easily. The rocket looks great when done using there paint scheme!
For the first flight of the rocket I put a 18" chute in the rocket sense the 24" is WAY TOO BIG! I used a Aerotech D21-7 Blue Thunder for the first flight. The rocket had a great boost. The 7 second delay is just right for the rocket too!
I would give this rocket 4 points. I would give it 5 points if they had put a 24MM motor mount in the rocket sense C's motors are too small for the rocket.
