IMHO this would make an excellent Level 1 kit. It's fairly easy to put together, looks great and flies wonderfully on an H128-S. It'll fly on a G75 so you could test before the cert flight.

I have flown the PML AMRAAM 3 on several sizes of motors from the I161 to the J570. With the J570 it went to 6800 ft. at near mach speed. It flew great every time with perfect recovery.

I found the directions to be straight forward and easy to follow, however I am very disappointed with the fit of the pieces. The outer diameter of the nose cone is noticeably smaller than the OD of the airframe. The coupler included with the kit is smaller than the ID of the airframe tubes, causing the rocket to not fit together well at the separation point. Plus it required considerable amount of masking tape to get the desired friction fit between upper and lower airframe.

I found the kit fun ( and easy) to build. A very strong kit. I have flown it on I-300 and 357 Motors. Perfect flight every time. It was my level 1 kit and might be my level 2. It is my all around sport flyer. PML has great kits plus other great goodies.

This was a great kit to build, and it looks beautiful when done. Flew on a I-211 down in Muncie. Looked and sounded great!!!
