Rear view of a single upper stage

There are three upper stages, essentially identical to this one.  The two outside fins on this rocket rest flush against the outer fins on the other two rockets. When they seperate and fly away, these three fins is all they got!

Take note of the shape of the body. The BT-5 tube is surrounded by this shaped styrofoam piece, which appears to be pretty soft even with paint. I expect these to get a lot of battle scars.  I had to do a lot of filling and sanding just from the abuse from the other parts in the kit bag.
