The following circuits are very simple to make. For the first circuit, use a small piece of perfboard to mount the components.
The locator will blink the LEDs alternately and sound a loud beeping tone....very effective for locating anything lost in the weeds or in the dark.
The second locator uses a small piece of circuit board. Etch a small grove down the middle on the foil side of the board, drill the holes and solder the components where shown.
