The combined soot of three A10's left a mess on the booster stage - it was painted GLOSS black

This booster stage was painted gloss black. After a single flight, the exhaust soot of three motors left it a sooty black mess.  Much worse than I've ever seen with a traditional series-staged booster.  It will need a good cleaning if I want this model to look presentable.
