 2012-02-18 K Sonesen's Razor 1.67XThis is an upscale clone of a Custom Rockets Razor with a 24mm motor tube. I based this rocket on Larry Brand's review/article here on Rocket Reviews titled "2BZ". Instead of using the 3-18mm cluster in the article, I went with a simple 24mm motor tube for ease of launch preparation. I also followed the Custom Rockets yellow and black paint scheme. Good solid flier.
Tube fin rockets always do well in the wind. This launch was no exception to that rule. Didn't use enough "dog barf" insulation and managed to burn a slit (?!?) in my lightweight Top Flight chute. Motors:
